OPPORTUNITY HIDES IN CHAOS: CAN YOU SPOT IT?
Discover how visionary leaders transform chaos into opportunity by shifting their perception. Learn to reframe challenges as catalysts for growth and innovation.

LANGUAGE: THE MASTER TOOL YOU’RE UNDERUSING
Most people use language to describe reality—but visionary leaders use it to create it. Learn how upgrading the words you speak can shift identity, drive bold action, and generate extraordinary results in business and life.

TO BE OR NOT TO BE…THAT IS THE DRIVER
If you’re doing everything right but still not getting the results you want, it’s time to look beyond strategy. This issue of The Grip reveals how your way of Being—not your tactics—is the true driver of results in leadership, business, and life.

CONNECTION ISN’T A HUGFEST:
Loneliness doesn’t just isolate leaders—it limits them. This issue of The Grip reveals why authentic connection isn’t a luxury, but a leadership edge that unlocks greater creativity, resilience, and impact.

RESPONSE ABILITY
Learn how radical responsibility empowers leaders to transform breakdowns into bold moves. This issue of The Grip reveals how to replace blame with ownership, fueling momentum, freedom, and sustainable leadership growth.

WHY ‘BETTER’ KEEPS YOU FEELING BROKEN
Many high-achievers unknowingly chase self-improvement from the belief that they’re broken. This issue of The Grip reveals how true transformation begins—not with fixing yourself—but by remembering you’re already enough.

YOUR BRAIN’S TEMPER TANTRUM PT. 3
Discomfort isn’t danger—it’s a sign that you’re growing. Learn to retrain your survival brain so discomfort no longer signals “stop,” but becomes the starting point for scale, leadership, and lasting impact.

YOUR BRAIN’S TEMPER TANTRUM PT. 2
Being wrong isn’t dangerous—it’s a survival brain reflex wired from childhood. This issue of The Grip reveals how clinging to being right is costing you growth, leadership, and joy—and shows how to reframe mistakes as fuel for transformation.

YOUR BRAIN’S TEMPER TANTRUM PT. 1
Your survival brain reacts to rejection like it’s a life-or-death threat, hijacking your clarity and confidence. But rejection isn’t fatal—it’s a perception error.
Learn how to reframe social disapproval, override outdated survival instincts, and take action without fear holding you back.

“I CAN’T AFFORD IT”—
Most people believe they’re limited by what they can afford, but that mindset keeps them stuck. This issue of The Grip challenges the affordability trap and introduces a powerful shift: taking full responsibility for creating financial means instead of settling for what’s already available.

INTENTIONAL RENEWAL:
We want growth, but we resist the pruning. We crave reinvention, but we hesitate at what must die.
Renewal isn’t just an idea; it’s a lived process, and if you’re in it right now, it might feel more like destruction than transformation.
But there’s a way to move through it with mastery—one that requires embracing its paradoxes instead of fighting them.

MASTER THE HIDDEN STORIES CONTROLLING YOUR RESULTS
Your mind is a master storyteller, constantly interpreting events and shaping how you experience leadership, relationships, and even your own identity. But here’s the thing: not all these stories are true. And the ones that aren’t? They could be limiting you more than you realize.

BLINDED BY STORY:
The second my vision went dark, my brain didn’t wait. It handed me one story: You’re in danger. It was instant, automatic, and utterly wrong—but I almost turned into the Tasmanian Devil because of it.
My experience in that moment is a picture of the challenge we all face in getting a handle on our default stories. Default stories are automatic and in turn, drive behavior. You always behave in a manner consistent with the story you’re telling. And the trickiest part is default stories are almost impossible to identify, unless you know where to look.

ONCE UPON A STORY THAT STUCK
The single biggest influence on your quality of life in any given moment is what you say about it—your story. This capacity is powerful, and how you use it makes all the difference in creating benefit or harm; both for yourself and others. Getting conscious of and intentional with your story will fundamentally transform your life.

STOP OUTSOURCING YOUR INNER GAME
Your inner experience does get created, just not in the manner you’ve been led to believe. Who makes you happy? Who makes you mad?
In this issue of The Grip, we shed light on the true source of your inner experience and give you the tools necessary to intentionally cultivate and strengthen it. We introduce a practice that, if you’re willing to live in true freedom, will fortify your mental wellbeing like nothing else.

THE SPEED OF LESS
Many of us have a habit of saying yes to new commitments without first making room for them in our lives. At a certain point, Bob decided he would remedy this for himself by proactively quitting something every week.
And the result? A life with less stress and more clarity, energy and impact. In today’s issue of The Grip, we’re illuminating this paradox of slowing down to speed up; how pruning back produces more.

SELF-MASTERY
The stoic philosopher, Epictetus put it this way, "No man is free who is not master of himself."
At The Grip, our mission is to simplify and de-mystify this critical skill so you actually enjoy doing what it takes to master yourself—you’re much more likely to excel at it when you do.
In this week’s issue we’ve curated 10 of the most powerful books on self-mastery—each one a masterclass in building focus, clarity, and discipline.
Whether you’re leading a team, building a business, or creating a life of impact, these books are tools to create the life you know you’re capable of.

SEEING THE INVISIBLE
In today’s issue of The Grip, we show you how this fundamental skill of making distinctions—a skill you utilize everyday already by default—can be intentionally harnessed and leveraged for your benefit.
Why does that matter? Because where distinctions increase, so do options to navigate your world—how you lead, love, create, and serve. The opposite is true as well: where distinctions decrease, so do options to navigate your world.

TODAY: WHY IT’S THE ONLY DAY THAT MATTERS
Mel Fisher’s relentless spirit embodies The Innovator Leader’s mindset—a commitment to keep creating in the face of uncertainty and adversity while working to bring the vision to life. And it is a powerful demonstration that our only access to impacting tomorrow is by acting today.
Read on to discover why!

THE SURPRISING EASE OF DECISIVE LEADERSHIP
As a leader, you likely face hundreds of decisions a day, which will be stressful and fatiguing if you’re pouring great amounts of time and energy into each one. That’s why becoming decisive is so valuable; it transforms your relationship to this critical skill. When practiced regularly, decisiveness correlates with higher rates of happiness, life satisfaction, mental wellbeing, and overall success.
